 Anil D'Cruz

Doctor Anil D'Cruz

Dr. D'Cruz is Director and also Chief, Department of Head & Neck Surgery at the Tata Memorial Hospital India.
He is a member of numerous professional bodies and is currently the President of Foundation of Head & Neck Oncology, India. Dr. D'Cruz has about 100 peer-reviewed publications and chapters and is also an editor for a two volume text book on Head and neck Surgery. He has delivered over 250 invited lectures and orations including the Myers International lecture at the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Head & Neck, Associate Editor of Head & Neck Oncology and a reviewer for several scientific journals.

 Jatin Shah

Professor Jatin Shah

Professor Jatin P. Shah graduated from the Medical College of MS University in Baroda, India, and received his training in Surgical Oncology and Head and Neck Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is Professor of Surgery, at the Weil Medical College of Cornell University, and Chief of the Head and Neck Service, Leader of the Head and Neck Disease Management Team, and holds The Elliott W. Strong Chair in Head and Neck Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

 Gregory Weinstein

Doctor Gregory Weinstein

Dr. Gregory Weinstein is the Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Together with Bert W. O'Malley Jr., M.D., Dr. Weinstein developed the first in the world research program in Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS). Dr. Weinstein was the Principal Investigator on the world's first clinical study of Transoral Robotic Surgery and has authored numerous articles describing new TORS techniques. Dr. Weinstein led the multi-institutional study that result of which in December, 2009, was the US FDA clearance, in December 2009, TORS. Dr. Weinstein was the founding member and the first president of the Society of Robotic Surgery.

 Claudio Cernea

Professor Claudio Cernea

Claudio Cernea graduated from the University of Sao Paulo Medical School in 1978. and in 1983 he took up residency in General Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery at the same institution. In 1991 he completed his doctoral Thesis and in 2001 his full Professorship Thesis, both based on head and neck surgery. From 2001 - 2003 Dr. Cernea held the post of President of the Brazilian Society of Head and Neck Surgery and he was on the Executive Council of the American Head and Neck Society from 2001 - 2004.

Associate Professor June Corry

A/Professor June Corry is a Radiation Oncologist and Chair of the Head & Neck Cancer Service at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, Australia. She has a broad clinical experience in the management of H&N cancer and is actively involved in clinical research. She is the author of over 60 articles and several book chapters.

Professor Dan Fliss

Professor Dan M. Fliss is a specialist in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery . He is the Chairman of the Division of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and the Faculty of Medicine Tel Aviv University. Professor Fliss has been a Teaching and Visiting Professor in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Prof. Fliss is also the recipient of the prestigious Eugene N. Myers International Lecture on Head and Neck Cancer (2008) at the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Invited Traveling Faculty for the 2012 World Tour Program of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology and Surgery.

Frans Hilgers

Professor Frans Hilgers

Professor Frans JM Hilgers is chairman-emeritus of the Department of Head and Neck Oncology and Surgery of the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam, and Professor at the University of Amsterdam ("Oncology-related voice and speech disorders"). MD 1973 (University of Utrecht); PhD 1976 ("Immunological aspects of herpes viruses in human neoplasia", University of Amsterdam); ENT 1978 (University of Amsterdam). His clinical research focuses on postlaryngectomy vocal, pulmonary, and olfactory rehabilitation. He has published 238 papers and book chapters (154 retraceable through Pubmed; 90 dealing with laryngectomy topics), and 3 edited books.

 Sheng-Po Hao

Professor Sheng-Po Hao

Sheng-Po Hao, MD, FACS, FICS is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology of Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital and Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan. He is a graduate of Taipei Medical College, Taiwan. He did his Residency at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. An International Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery in Pittsburgh, USA with Dr. Eugene N. Myers followed. Dr. Hao becomed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Chang Gung University, Taiwan in 2005 and he moved to current position in 2010. Dr. Hao is a specialist in both Head and Neck Cancer Surgery and Skull Base Surgery. He has published hundreds of articles and book chapters on the subject. Dr. Hao is a past President of the Taiwan Head and Neck Society and Taiwan Skull Base Society. He is currently the President of Asian Society of Head and Neck Oncology and Taiwan Oral Cancer Prevention and Therapy Association. Dr. Hao also serves as an executive member in the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncological Society and also in the Head and Neck Committee in International Federation of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.

Kwang Hyun-Kim

Doctor Kwang Hyun Kim

Dr. Kwang Hyun Kim was born on October 19, 1947 in Seoul, Korea and graduated Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1972. He finished his resident training in the Department of Otolaryngology, Seoul National University Hospital in 1977 and served in the Navy until 1980. He worked as a faculty member of Department of Otolaryngology, Chungnam National University until 1982 and moved to the Seoul National University Hospital in 1983.
His major interest was head and neck surgery and he learned head and neck surgery for 2 years in Bonn University in Germany from 1985 to 1987. After return to Korea, he founded the Korean Society of Head and Neck Surgery in 1990 and actively participated in the international head and neck societies. He has the memberships of the AAO-HNS, American Head and Neck Society, American Laryngological Association. In 2002, he was the Eugene N. Myers International Guest Lecturer in Head and Neck Cancer at AAO-HNS in San Diego. He is the council member of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncological Societies(IFHNOS) and he was the President of the 4th World Congress of IFHNOS which was successfully held in Seoul, Korea in 2010. He published about 100 papers in the SCI Journals.

 Seiji Kishimoto

Professor Seiji Kishimoto

Professor Seiji Kishimoto studied medicine at Kyoto University from 1967-1973. In 1980 he took up a two-year post as Assistant in the Department of Otolaryngology, at Zurich University Hospital
From 1988-1997 he occupied the role of Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Kochi Medical School before being employed as Head in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery, National Cancer Center Hospital. He is currently Professor and Chairman in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, a position Professor Kishimoto has held since 1999.

Bernie Lyons

Associate Professor Bernard Lyons

Associate Professor Lyons trained In Otolaryngology in Melbourne and then completed a Head and Neck Oncology and Skull base surgery fellowship with Professor Paul Donald at UC Davis Sacramento Ca, USA in 1990-1991. He is an examiner for the RACS in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and is Secretary General of the Asia Oceania ORL Society. His main interests lie in Skull Base surgery both open and endoscopic techniques and in particular sinonasal cancers with experience in the management of several hundred anterior and lateral skull base malignancies. He has been the invited speaker at many national and international meetings and workshops related to this area.

Francis Marchal

Professor Francis Marchal

Francis Marchal, MD, FACS, is Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Geneva. He has developped the technique and instruments for sialendoscopy since 1995, and founded the European Sialendoscopy Training Center, as well as the European Salivary Gland Society and the International Salivary Gland Society, both being multidisciplinary societies focussing on Salivary pathologies. He continuously since 2002 trained physicians from all the world for this technique, that was FDA approved in 2000, and that is now available in more than 100 centers from 32 countries.

 Hisham Mehanna

Dr Hisham Mehanna

Hisham Mehanna is a consultant head and neck and thyroid surgeon, at the University Hospital, Coventry and Heart of England Hospital, Birmingham. He is the Director of the Institute of Head and Neck Studies and Education (www.InHANSE.org). He is also an Honorary Associate Professor at Warwick Medical School. He is the Chair of the Joint Arden Head & Neck Cancer Centre, and the Lead Clinician for Head & Neck and Thyroid Cancer, University Hospital, Coventry.

Professor Ken-ichi Nibu

Ken-ichi Nibu is Professor and Chairman in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Kobe University's Graduate School of Medicine in Japan. He is a member of the Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society of Japan, JapanSociety for Head and Neck Cancer and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Professor nibu's major interests include Head and Neck Cancer and Olfactory Neurogenesis.

 Alfredo Pontejos

Professor Alfredo Pontejos
Alfredo Q.Y. Pontejos Jr, MD, graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of Medicine in 1976. From there he completed residency training in Otorhinolaryngology and post-graduate training in Head and Neck Surgery in London. Professor Pontejos returned to the Philippines to become an Assistant Professor and Attending Otolaryngologist at the Department of ORL, UP-PGH. He also developed private practice in various hospitals namely United Doctors Medical Center and Manila Doctors Hospital both in Manila. At present he is the Chairman, Dept of ORL, UP-PGH and a Director of the Philippine Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

 Vincent Vander Poorten

Professor Vander Poorten

Vincent Vander Poorten, MD, PhD, MSc (Epid) is consultant, associate professor and adjoint clinical head of the department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospitals Leuven, Leuven, Belgium (1999). He earned a degree of "Master of Science in Epidemiology" at the Free University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (1998). He defended his PhD thesis "Salivary gland carcinoma. Stepping up the prognostic ladder" and earned the Degree of Doctor in Medicine at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands ( 2002). He is member of The Netherlands Epidemiological Society, The Royal Belgian Society for Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the Netherlands Society for Otorhinolaryngology and Cervicofacial Surgery, the American Head and Neck Society, The Flemish Head and Neck Society, the European Salivary Gland Society (ESGS), the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the European Head and Neck Society. His special focus is salivary gland and thyroid surgery, laser microendoscopic surgery, endoscopic and external approaches to the anterior skull base, photodynamic therapy and pediatric head and neck surgery.

 Nilesh Vasan

Doctor Nilesh Vasan
Dr. Nilesh Vasan is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, USA. Vasan is a Fellowship trained Head and Neck Surgeon with interests in thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland surgery. Currently, he is developing the only Head and Neck Robotic Surgery Program in Oklahoma and is actively involved in Oncology Research.

 William Wei

Professor William Wei

Professor William I. Wei is the Li Shu Pui Professor of Surgery, Chair in Otorhinolaryngology at The University of Hong Kong, and Head of Department of Surgery at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. His main clinical interests are head and neck surgery, in particular, nasopharyngeal, laryngeal, hypopharyngeal and oral cavity cancers, and microvascular reconstruction after ablative surgery. He is active in his clinical research pursuits, holding memberships in 26 academic societies and serving on editorial boards of 41 international academic journals. Professor Wei has served on many professional bodies. He is the founding President of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists and was President, on two occasions, of the Hong Kong Head and Neck Society. Currently, he is Director of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology Societies.

 Peter Zbären

Peter Zbären
Professor Doctor Peter Zbären has trained and held staff positions at the university hospitals of Geneva (CH), Lausanne (CH) and at the Institute Gustave Roussy Cancer Center in Paris (FR).

Since 1992, he has been Head of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery in the Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of the University Hospital in Berne, Switzerland. He has extensive experience in head and neck cancer surgery, salivary gland surgery and laryngology. He is author of over 160 scientific publications and invited speaker at Head and Neck Cancer Conferences all over the world.

Professor Hongliang Zheng
Hongliang Zheng, M.D., Ph.D. is the Chairman and Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Changhai Hospital, Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China. His clinical interests include Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve; Head and Neck Cancer Surgery; Airway and Voice Surgery. He is Chairman of the Phoniatrics Group of Chinese ORL-HNS Association and the Chinese Neurolaryngology Group as well as Vice-Chairman of the Shanghai Head and Neck Oncology Association, Shanghai ORL-HNS Association and the People's Liberation Army ORL-HNS Association. He has had Eleven manuscripts published in SCI international medical Journals
